THE MISSING LINK

John 3:3, NKJV: Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

This is Kevin William Rascoe and welcome to my weekly devotion.

In John 3:3, Jesus told Nicodemus, a prominent religious leader, that he needed to be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

However, today, people believe they can enter the kingdom of God by going through many doors.

And if you were to ask a random group of people, do they believe in God? You might hear statements such as, “I’m spiritual,” “I believe in a god,” “I believe in a higher power,” “I’m a Buddhist,” “I’m a Hindu…”

Even Oprah Winfrey once stated, “One of the mistakes that human beings make is believing that there is only one way to live. There are many paths to what you call God.” – National Post

If anyone follows a god that doesn’t include Christ who died on the cross, then that person is missing the link to salvation.

THE MESSAGE: In this world, many have eliminated Jesus Christ as the link to their salvation.

But there is no other way to the Heavenly Father, and a person simply has to accept Christ as their Savior to be born again.

Once a person does that, it connects their lost soul to eternal life and excludes them from the second death.

Revelation 20:14, KJV: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

John 3:3, NKJV: Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

*Also, if you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and repented for your sins, then do so now because the Father has promised no one tomorrow. (Read Romans 10: 9-10)
