The Unusual Life of David Snod: Episode 2

When David stumbles upon his absentee father, he is once again faced with the reality that the father he wished and hoped for all his life and the one that stands before him aren’t one in the same.

Bob, his father, isn’t the kind of man who will encourage him when he’s down. He’s not a person he can rely on for deep conversations. He’s the man who calls him “the boy” and barely remembers he exists.

Chris, David’s athletic brother, is no help. He presses the issue by telling David their father only likes people who play a team sport, just like he did. Unfortunately, David didn’t inherit that talent.

But desperation is a funny thing. It pushes David to move outside of his comfort zone and tries out for a team. He’s nervous. He knows he doesn’t have an athletic bone in his body, and David feels that failure will drive a bigger wedge between him and his father.

Will David’s bold move win his dad over or will Bob see the error in his ways and meet David where he is in life and accept him for the young man he’s becoming?
