It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. – Luke 17:2, NKJV
This is Kevin William Rascoe and welcome to my weekly devotion.
So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, “Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.” – Exodus 1:22, NKJV
Throughout history, the enemy has tried to kill babies before and after entering this world.
He has tricked some of humanity into having abortions (repent: God forgives), and now the enemy is training young minds to believe transgender surgery is okay.
However, if a child or adult chooses to undo what God has done, and years later, if they want a baby, sadly, that individual won’t have an opportunity to have one.
And one person who moved forward with the surgery stated: “I’ll never be the same. I was allowed to destroy my body.” – Epoch TV. Gender Transformation: The Untold Realities
The enemy even influences evil people to steal children from loving parents.
And unfortunately, they become part of the human trafficking ring:
the crime of exploiting another person for compelled labor or commercial sex acts, typically through force, fraud, and coercion, or inducing a minor under 18 into commercial sex.
Human traffickers are in it for the money, with estimated annual global profits of $150 billion. – DHS Countering Human Trafficking: Year in Review
However, God always has a plan to dismantle and defeat Satan’s agenda. The Israelites witnessed it firsthand during the Red Sea miracle.
The Pharaoh commanded that every newborn Hebrew boy be thrown into the river, but he and the Egyptian army experienced death by water as well.
I have a feeling when the walls of the Red Sea collapsed that the Egyptians realized their god was powerless, but it was a bit too late.
THE MESSAGE: Most agree that a baby’s life is precious before and even after birth.
However, we need everyone on earth to help protect the Heavenly Father’s adorable babies who might be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers one day.
And don’t forget to pray for them daily. The children truly need it.
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. – Luke 17:2, NKJV
*Also, if you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and repented for your sins, then do so now because the Father has promised no one tomorrow. (Read Romans 10: 9-10)
