Today’s scripture: “Man was not created in the image of angels but in the image of God. Thus, the word us in the passage (Gen. 1:26) is God the Father, the Word who was Christ, and the Holy Spirit (see 1 John 5:7).” — The Perry Stone Study Bible.
Some biblical figures doubted their capabilities and tried to hold on to defeated images, which almost hindered their blessings, but with God, they succeeded.
Moses grew up in royalty, as the adopted son of Pharaoh’s daughter, but he still couldn’t see himself as the leader of the Israelites; however, God did.
Gideon stated he was the least of his father’s house; however, God was with him and recognized him as a mighty man of valor (Judges 6:12).
THE MESSAGE: When we allow erroneous images, such as failures or the public’s opinion, to represent us, then we limit our blessings.
But if we have Christ in our lives, believe and remember we’re created in God’s image, then not some things, but all things are possible (Matt. 19:26).
