The Heart Never Lies

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. — Psalm 19:14: NKJV.

This is Kevin William Rascoe, and welcome to my weekly devotional/blog.

Today’s scripture: “What a person meditates upon will eventually manifest through the words of their mouth as it is written, ‘Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh’ (Matt. 12:34).” — The Perry Stone Study Bible.

One will always express what one loves or hates.

So, meditating on the driver who almost sideswiped you during the morning rush hour, or dwelling on the lack that surrounds you, or focusing on what you simply dislike, will eventually turn into anger toward someone who was just trying to be cordial.

But meditating on God’s Word will produce a gentle and peaceful spirit that most will love.

THE MESSAGE: What you think about will soon come out, so meditate on the scriptures daily, and when you speak, the words from your heart will be acceptable in His sight.

Until next time, God bless!

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. — Psalm 19:14: NKJV.

If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and repented of your sins, then do so now because there is no guarantee you’ll have another opportunity tomorrow (Romans 10:9-10).

The youth need to read children’s books. So, why not give them a children’s Christian book that’s written for a child but contains a lesson for all? ORDER TODAY: Episode 3.
